May Need Safeguard Against Conflict Of Interest…

Civil Beat – Assisted Suicide Bill

Medical Aid In Dying: ‘The Political Risk Is Not Passing It’

Danger of this bill.

Among other things,

1. We may want to understand why these people try to implement as law, even if it has been privately practiced among the patient families.

2. What do they want to gain?
Simply money, saving money, in the name of death with dignity.

3. Do you think they care about dying people’s wish? We may need to check their emotional health.

4. Who may be the most vulnerable people?
E.g. Medicaid and private insurance patients with chronic or terminal illness, with no family, who may have been under long term care.

5. What are the possibilities of intentional killing (e.g. by the people with conflict of interest) in the name of assisted suicide?

6. Although there may seem enough vetting process, all those pre-requirements can still be forged, including patient’s voice, esp. if patient is single and does not have any close relatives.

If you still want to pass the bill, come up with 100% safeguard against possible conflict of interest, since we don’t want to have even one mistake.

Transitional, Multipurpose Shelters For Homeless, For Now.

Hawaii News Now- Permanent Homeless Housing

Keyword: at least, but only minimum; with compassion. Temporary and transitional (multipurpose) shelters.

This project may be too much.

We should not make homeless feel comfortable at status quo, although we should provide them minimal living conditions.

Our goal has to be rehabilitating them, but hopefully putting back them into our society, as soon as possible.

Aloha.

Note: Exception. Mentally ill homeless.

Comment:

This would solve homeless issue in short term, and cost-effectively in the long run, as well.

People May Be Feeling Lost…

Gov. Ige might have survived this false alarm issue, had he had fired (or at least left on administrative leave) Mr. Miyagi and the button pusher, right (or soon) after the incident.
But, now, it may be too late…
Aloha.

Note: I hope Gov. Ige knows that people may be feeling lost…

Repeatedly Misleading News Article By Mr. Chad Blair Of Civil Beat.

Mr. Chad Blair of Civil Beat has repeatedly lied and misled the public.
He knew my probable candidacy for governor.
(I announced my possible candidacy for governor more than year ago.)

Despite my complaint after his article on Sept 7, 2017, he wrote it again on January 4, 2018, that “no other gubernatorial candidate has emerged on the Democratic side, and it could well just be Hanabusa and Ige”.

Dear my People of Hawaii,
You be the judge. Do you think Mr. Blair’s repeated such statements are true?
Why do you think he decided to deceive public even if he knew that he violated his professional ethics as a journalist?
Simply, this is nothing but “fraud”, in the name of news article.

Media Reform…!
