Open Letter to Mr. Chad Blair and Civil Beat

Open letter to Mr. Chad Blair and Honolulu Civil Beat.

Dear Civil Beat,

Since last senate race in my district, I believe I have been mistreated, denigrated, and sabotaged by your newspaper.

Lately, in your recent article, “Chad Blair: My Akamai guide to 2018 elections” published on 9/7/2017, you continued to mislead public with malice.
You stated, for example, “With Hanabusa’s entrance, though, it’s unlikely other gubernatorial wannabes will emerge on the Democratic side.”

I want to demand your reasoning behind this, e.g. “unlikely”…wannabes.
Not to mention other mis, un, dis informations,
your continued unethical behaviors as a journalist may lead to legal action(s), e.g., class action suite(s), against your news organization, in which cause of action may include defamation, fraud, intentional and/or negligent infliction of emotional pain, and (even possible) conspiracy, etc.

Since you may want to justify your (misleading) article, I demand followings; among other things,

1. Provide your reason(s) why the “wannabes” would be “unlikely”, “with Hanabusa’s entrance”.

A. First, your statement is wrong because I already announced and made ads on fb regarding my possible candidacy since last year, (as you already knew thru fb).

B. I may have better credentials (although different) than Ms. Hanabusa, although you may claim that she has a long experience in government positions. (Fyi, I also have some good practical knowledge of law, with more than 10 years of experience.)
But, having no experience in government position does not mean I can’t be as good as an elected officer.
I am a medical professional; and as you may understand, all professionals may have somewhat same way of thinking and understanding about their subject matters although in different fields.
Besides, as you know, an unexperienced and rather under-educated person like Mr. Trump is still functioning as our president.

C. Have you conducted any polls or public surveys before your recent article? If so, why not disclosed in your article?

2. Provide your facts and evidence that you are not related to Ms. Hanabusa (and/or Gov. Ige) in terms of any interest: Simply, prove yourselves that there exists no conflict of interest, whatsoever.

3. Provide any justification or reason(s) why you tend to disregard and/or deviate from your ethics guideline.

4. What is(are) requirement(s) to be non-profit? I believe you continuously ask public donations.
Please, provide evidence that you are following all rules and regulations as a non-profit organization.
Thank you very much. Picture from Civil Beat.
