Work Toward Jones Act Reform…

Well,
One main reason may be the national security issue.
The question is how hard for Hawaii politicians to push and convince the Fed, even if they want to address the issue in Washington, DC..?
At least, they should demand more of compensations if Fed is not willing to repeal or reform; (esp. whenEVER we encounter prospective economic hardship due to the Jones Act, while actively working toward our balanced economic growth).
Until we get the reform or repeal, however, we should continuously pressure Fed. (At the same time, we may need to continuously find a way to assure or reinforce the national security.)
